Using an approved Point-of-Sale system, PSLnet collects order information in much the same way that electronic orders are currently placed for the major pharmaceutical wholesalers.

PSLnet allows pharmacies to create all supplier orders in one or more groups.

These orders can be sent immediately or batched for transmission at a later scheduled time. This can be done by the pharmacist or by PSLPost, the PSLnet software that sits on a networked Personal Computer in your store and talks to the internet. The Pharmacist still has all the flexibility over the ordering process / volumes / pack sizes / rounding up or tailing off. PSLnet then delivers the orders to the right supplier and returns shipping information directly to the pharmacy computer after the supplier has processed the order.

PSLnet significantly reduces the amount of time a pharmacy will need to spend with supplier reps on ordering. The on-line catalog feature of PSLnet allow the buyer to browse an electronic catalogue in their own time and directly place orders from the catalogue. This will allow face-to-face time spent with supplier reps to focus on training, merchandising and product counseling, rather than ordering.

Manual ordering to suppliers can be eliminated by PSLnet. The cumbersome task of allocating codes and matching them to supplier's orders and invoices is also eliminated. No re-keying of delivery information.

PSLnet revolutionises the receipting of goods, checking of orders and, as a result, reduces the number of errors and time spent dealing with supplier invoices. Simple, fast, efficient. Easy-to-use and no more manual data entry.
